Rubrics & Reviews: A Student Guide to Getting and Using Feedback
Scrible’s Rubrics & Reviews feature is here to help you improve your writing and make feedback more useful and easy to understand.
How to Use Rubrics & Reviews
When your teacher assigns you a review, you will see it as a series of instructions and questions for the assignment. Your review may or may not be based on a rubric (scoring guide) for your assignment. If it is, please ask your teacher for more details regarding the rubric. As you complete the review(s), your answers will be logged and shared with your teacher, your assigned peer(s), and yourself. Other students will NOT be able to see feedback a teacher has left for you, your self-evaluation, feedback received from a peer, or feedback you have given to a peer.
Accessing Your Reviews
When your teacher assigns a review, you’ll find it in your Scrible assignment. Depending on your teacher’s settings, you might:
See teacher feedback on your writing.
Review a classmate’s work in a peer review.
