Students in a Class/Section
Educators can distribute assignments to classes or sections in Scrible, whether they've been imported from a third party or manually created. For individual assignments, every student in that section will get their own copy of the assignment. Only the specific student and any co-teachers associated with the assignment can view that student's work.
For group assignments, a single assignment copy is shared among group members. All members of the group, as well as the co-teachers associated with the assignment, have access to view and edit the shared work.
If the section originates from Google Classroom, the assignment can also be synced there. This means the Scrible assignment will appear in the Classwork section of the corresponding Google Classroom class for individual assignments only. Additionally, individual assignments can be submitted or retracted directly within Google Classroom.
Using an assignment code/URL
Instead of creating sections in Scrible, educators have the flexibility to assign work to select students using this method. When they create such an assignment, the system immediately generates a unique Assignment Code and Assignment URL.
BEFORE ASSIGNED | AFTER ASSIGNED |
---|---|
To participate, students should sign in to their Scrible account. Then, they have the option to follow the URL directly. When the assignment URL has been distributed, the link will take students directly into the assignment.
Alternatively, students may click the "Join Assignment By Code" button on the Assignment List page and enter the provided code.
