Do Students Need the Scrible Extension to Use the App?

“Is the Scrible extension required in order for students to utilize the app?”

The short answer is: Web based research will not be possible without the extension, but most other aspects of the platform can be utilized successfully.

✅ What Students Can Do Without the Extension

Students can access and use the full Scrible platform directly through the web by visiting www.scrible.com. Once logged in, they can:

• Create and manage research projects

• Upload or import sources

• Annotate articles and PDFs

• Generate citations and bibliographies

• Collaborate and share with peers

• Organize resources with tags and folders

In short, much of the core Scrible functionality is available without the extension.
