Using the Read Aloud Feature in Scrible

The Read Aloud feature in Scrible is a fantastic tool to enhance accessibility and improve your reading experience. If you're experiencing any issues or just want to get started, this guide will walk you through the key steps and troubleshooting tips.


Step-by-Step Guide: Using the Read Aloud Feature in Scrible


Step 1: Open Your Source

  1. Open a source from your Scrible library or save a new source directly from the web.

Step 2: Activate the Read Aloud Feature

  1. Once the source is open, click on the Ear Icon in the Scrible Toolbar.
  2. Highlight the text you want to hear. The Read Aloud feature will start playing the selected text.

Step 3: Adjust Read Aloud Settings

  1. Click the down arrow next to the Ear Icon to open the Read Aloud Settings.
  2. Customize the Voice Settings:
    • Select your preferred Language and Voice from the dropdown menu.
    • Use the sliders to adjust the Pitch and Speed of the voice.
  3. Click Test Voice to preview your selections and ensure you like the sound.
  4. Once finalized, these settings will automatically apply to all future Read Aloud sessions.
