HelperBot (beta): Your Scrible Q&A Assistant!
We’re excited to introduce the Scrible HelperBot, a new beta feature that will make learning how to use Scrible a breeze! Whether you’re just getting started or looking for quick tips on using specific features, HelperBot has your back! Think of it as your personal Scrible guide—here to answer all your questions about how to best use Scrible.
What is the Scrible HelperBot?
HelperBot is a built-in AI assistant that helps answer your questions related to using Scrible. Need help finding a feature? Confused about a workflow within Scrible? Just ask HelperBot, and it will search through Scrible’s help articles to point you in the right direction.
What HelperBot won’t do:
Organization: It won’t help organize your sources or projects.
Citation help: It can’t create or format citations for you.
Writing & Research: You’re the star when it comes to writing and research!
HelperBot is designed to focus solely on Scrible-specific queries to make sure you’re using the platform effectively.
How to Use Scrible HelperBot
Using HelperBot is a breeze! Follow these steps to get started:
1. Access HelperBot
Once you’re logged into Scrible, you’ll see the HelperBot icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Click on it to open the chat window.
2. Ask a Question
In the chat window, simply type your question about Scrible. For example:
“How do I create a library?”
“Where can I find annotation tools?”
HelperBot will instantly search Scrible’s help database and provide answers and/or direct links to articles that match your question.
3. Read HelperBot’s Response
Once HelperBot gives you an answer, it will often include links to help articles or FAQs for further reading. Just click the link to open the full article in a new tab.
4. Provide Feedback
If HelperBot can’t quite find what you’re looking for, don’t worry! You’ll be able to refine your query or get suggestions on other topics related to your question.
Click the icon.
Select “Tell us more.”
Select the “What was wrong with the answer provided?” response you desire.
Optional: Answer “What would have been a better answer?”
If you would like to provide additional feedback, please fill out a help ticket.
Quick Tips for Using HelperBot
Be specific: The clearer your question, the better HelperBot can assist you.
Use keywords: Try to use Scrible-related terms like “annotations,” “library,” or “toolbar” in your queries for faster results.
Follow the links: HelperBot provides links to help articles that contain detailed step-by-step instructions and visuals for more complex features.
What’s Next?
We’re always working on improving HelperBot. As we expand and update our help content, HelperBot will get even better at guiding you through Scrible’s features.
