How do I Delete a Source from My Library?

Deleting a source from your Scrible library is a simple process. However, it’s important to note that this action will remove any annotations, highlights, or citations associated with that source. Follow the steps below to delete a source from your library permanently.

  1. Access Your Scrible Library

    • Log in to your Scrible account and navigate to your library.
  2. Locate the Source

    • Browse through your library to find the source you wish to delete.
  3. Hover Over the Source

    • Move your cursor to the drawer of options at the right of the source. You will see a trash can icon.
  4. Click the Trash Can Icon

    • Click on the trash can icon to initiate the deletion process.
  5. Confirm Deletion

    • A confirmation message will appear asking if you’re sure you want to delete the source. Confirm your choice.
  6. Source Removal

    • The source will be removed from your Scrible library, including any annotations, highlights, or citations associated with it.


You can efficiently manage and clean up your Scrible library by following these steps. Always double-check before confirming deletion to ensure you do not lose valuable information.

Important Note

Please remember that deleting a source from your library is permanent. Once a source is deleted, you cannot recover the annotations, highlights, or citations tied to that source.
