How do I add tags to annotations?
In the vast expanse of your research library, staying organized is key to efficiency. Scrible's tagging feature allows you to quickly find and manage sources and annotations, streamlining your research process. Here's how to leverage tags in your Scrible library for both sources and annotations.
Tagging Sources for Easy Retrieval
View and Tag Sources:
- Navigate to your library and hover over a source to reveal a context menu on the right.
- Click on the tag icon to manage tags for that source.
Adding Tags to Sources:
- In the "Add/Remove Tags" popup, type the name of the tag and press Enter. Repeat for multiple tags.
Removing Tags from Sources:
- To remove a tag, hover over the tag in the popup and click the "X" at the right edge of the tag outline.
- Click "Close" once you're done editing tags.
Managing Annotations with Tags
Accessing Annotations:
- For a detailed view of a source's annotations, click on the greater-than symbol beside the source in your library.
- A list of annotations for that source will appear. Hover over an annotation to see more options.
Bulk Tagging Annotations:
- Select multiple annotations by checking the box to the left of each row.
- Click the tag icon to edit tags for all selected annotations simultaneously.
