Scrible is excited to roll out its latest Edu Pro plan feature: Paraphrasing Support. Paraphrasing is crucial for incorporating research into your work in today's academic and professional environments. That's where we come in!

Why Paraphrasing?

Paraphrasing is a way to show your understanding of a topic by putting someone else's ideas into your own words. It's different from quoting because you're not copying the original text word for word. For example, instead of quoting "Children raised in institutions were deficient in emotional and personality development," you could say "Institution-reared children had emotional and personal growth issues." With Scrible's paraphrase support, your citations are generated automatically. However, it's always important to double-check your citations.

How Scrible's Paraphrasing Support Works

Understanding the challenges associated with paraphrasing, Scrible's new tool is designed to streamline the process:

• Highlight the Text: Select the passage you intend to paraphrase.
• Use the Comment Function: Craft your paraphrased sentence(s) within this feature.
• Toggle the "Comment"/"Paraphrase" Switch: Located in the lower left of the comment, this ensures the correct response in your sources, helping you seamlessly integrate your paraphrase into your work.

• Automatic Citation: As always, Scrible will provide the correct in-text citation format, catering to MLA 9, APA 7, or other citation styles.
