How do I keep my Scrible account after graduation?

Congratulations on graduating! This is an exciting milestone and we want to help you during the next chapter in your life.

Scrible was built for portability. So, whether you'll be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, a job or just personal interests, you can count on Scrible to help you stay organized as you curate and annotate articles in the future after graduation.

Add a personal email address to your account

Since you might have been using a school-issued email address until now, we strongly recommend adding a personal email address to your Scrible account. That will take your account out of your teacher's or school's subscription and convert it to a personal account on our free Basic Plan. You'll retain the data that's already in your account and be able to use the features of the Basic Plan for free after graduation. If you want or need the paid features (which you may've previously used) you can upgrade your account to one of our paid Edu Pro Plans.

Here's a step-by-step guide on what to do: 

• Log into your Scrible account as  normally do using your current email/password or single-sign on (SSO) method.
• Click on your username located at the top-right corner of your screen and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
• Under the Settings tab, click Add Email in the Emails section.
• Enter your personal email address in the email field and click Add.

• Verify this new email address by clicking the link we send to that address. If you don't see the email, check your spam filter.
• Click the up arrow to the right of this new email address to make it the primary address for your Scrible account.

That's it! You're all set! All your Scrible communications will now come to your personal email address, and you can sign into your Scrible account using your personal email address instead of your previous school-issued email address.
