How do I create a copy of a source?

To copy a source, select one or more source(s) by checking the checkmarks at the left side.

Then click the Copy button.

In the popup, choose the library to copy the source into.

If you say "Yes" to the "Copy tags" option, any tags on the current source will be created in the destination library if they don't already exist and applied to the copy.

IMPORTANT NOTE: we do not recommend creating multiple copies of a source in the same library.  This can lead to confusing situations because you've made annotations in one copy, but then open the other or accidentally delete the wrong copy of the source.  For Edu users, it can also lead to issues where you have multiple copies of the same source in your bibliography.
